Thread: Graduate's deportation case dropped

  1. #1
The government's decision Wednesday not to kick out of the country former Jefferson High School valedictorian and DREAM Act poster child Benita Veliz is a rare instance of new deportation guidelines being implemented in San Antonio.

Immigration authorities agreed to close proceedings against Veliz, a 26-year-old graduate of St. Mary's University, five months after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director John Morton released a memo that sets out factors that prosecutors should take into account when deciding who will be deported. How Alabama’s immigration law is crippling its farms
FARMERS IN ALABAMA are in revolt against the state’s over-the-top immigration law, which is designed to hound illegal immigrants so that they move elsewhere. As it happens, a substantial portion of farm workers there, as in other states, are undocumented. In the farmers’ view, the law is depriving them of steady, experienced labor — and threatening to deal a lethal blow to crops throughout the state. Read more here

it's a shame that ICE and USCIS are such pathetic wimps....this will only attract more filth.

BoardWizard clearly has a pro-illegal alien agenda, and frequently posts pro-illegal alien content, opinion and propoganda...but he also seems to exercise editorial control on this site.

This means that those who oppose illegal aliens, and expresss that opinion, find their posts deleted and edited.

It seems that the apologists for illegal aliens are afraid that their opponents' anti-illegal alien positions and opinions will prevail.

I "like" the first post, I "dislike" the second and third. It would be nice if we had that facility.

This is a pro-immigrant site in my opinion. Be thankful that the likes of you aren't blocked yet.

Don't worry Don. When the AZ and AL laws get kicked out by SCOTUS we immigrants will have the last say

this is not a pro-illegal immigrant site, however, a fact that many of you have missed.
But hey don,if you love illegals so much (and no doubt a large portion of your extended family has first hand experience being one), why haven't YOU taken in a dozen or so illegals, feed and clothe them, let 'em use your car, etc? Why? Because you lack the cojones of your alleged convictions.

No Brain Brit also said that SCOTUS would overturn the Arizona EVerify law. No Brain Brit was wrong. LOL.

that's one thing your small brain can't and won't be able to grasp........ immigrants like me (and you) don't want dole outs....... we want opportunities that U.S.A. have to offer. We want to work and earn a decent living for the upkeep of our families and ourselves....... but on second thought, what do you know about work? he he he.........

and please give up that "you're against illegals but pro legal immigrants" chicken unmentionable......... you're anti-immigrants, and that's all there is to it! period.........
