Thread: I-485- VAWA-approved Interview

  1. #1
Hello All: I am new to this.
My I-360 self petition was filed and approved.
My AOS interview is coming up in a few weeks. Can anyone who has been through a similar experience please advice me on what to expect at these types of interviews. Thanks

You know, I have read your contributions in other posts.....First of all, this was a case of abuse and we produced children together in the marriage (Mr. Michealthegreat); Secondly, just something to consider, there are USCs outside the United States trying to get citizenships from other countries....my prayer is may they never come across mean-spirited, cold-hearted "michaelthegreat" replicas.

    - And aren't they all !! What is your problem with me? All I did was to make the other person see that it is an easy process and there is nothing to worry about; how does this make me mean spirited?

    - And not one petition was denied ! My point is proven; VAWA/IMBRA is an automatic greencard.

Not exactly apt. Those experiences are all marriage-based, and attending with their current USC spouses.

The OP has an adjustment of status interview as a self-petitioner.

fehiz, my recommendation is to take all of the documentation that you prepared for the prime facie case with you.

Yeah, but there would be one absolute exception.....

If you were an English speaking white man from Canada you'd be cuffed and deported for fraud, even if you were castrated, black and blue, with all your teeth knocked out.
