Thread: BronzeLady PLEASE: Interview Tips for Waiver I-751 case

  1. #1
    Bronzelady,

As and admirer of yours because of your knowledge of the Immigration laws and procedures I would like to ask you any tips/recommendations/things I should have in mind for an interview on a I-751 waiver case.

I don't have an interview appointment yet, but due to the nature of my case [marriage ended in divorce] I will most likely be called for one, and according to the last processing dates issued by VSC that should be ocurring pretty soon [within this month or the next one].

What do Officers try to look into these type of cases since only the alien has to be present? Will showing a lot of documentation be enough to have an easy-going interview?

Will the fact that I am 22 years old, full time college student, that is doing okey also working full time [I consider myself a productive person] that has no criminal record whatsoever and has been a good resident be put into the balance in order to make a determination?

How does the gender of the officer could impact my interview and its outcome? Do you think a male officer would be more sympatetic to me?

In advance I appreciate your kind response,

gender of the interviewer doesn't matter. How good a person you are doesn't matter either. What matters is does the interviewer believe that your intent was to stay married. Also, it is not guaranteed that you will have an interview (although, from what I understand, most are). I hope you have evidence.

    Bronzelady,

Thanks for your response. I still have faith/hope that I will get approved without an interview. I have nothing to be afraid of should I be call for one, it is just the experience of having my life at stake in one day. It is unbelievable stressful.

Any tip to have the officer be friendlier ?

If CIS officer is a lady, you should "give her the eye" and say, "Hey, Baaaaaaby, you ever had hot, exotic, Latin lovvvvvvvver?"

Hey Aguila; PLEASE follow Jo's advice because I would love to see the result. It is typical of Jo's advice. It would work for me, but that's different. Nobody wants a wetback; everyone loves Americans.

The only way Michael's back gets wet is when his rubber doll springs a leak.
