If I understand correctly it means that you know you have an order of deportation or you are apprehended and find out there is an order of deportation against you and instead of fighting it (the case) in immigration court you sign the immigration papers and volutarily leave the US back to your home country.

    Thank you.
I didn't get any orders of deportation or anything like that yet. I have my first interview coming up, and i know that my case will be denied. So I was wondering if I can just to voluntary departure and go back to my country without any marks on my record as removal or deportation.

There will be no 'marks' on your record if you leave the country before your voluntary departure period expires.

Why you didnt go for the VAWA like we told you to.?????

Its ok, if you are alright with going back to your country.. thats fine. Take the voluntary. Perhaps you will meet someone here before you go into removal proceedings, and be able to marry again and find happiness. (provided you didnt come on a k-1/k3)

Other wise go back home enjoy life and perhaps you will meet an american again there.

    Good Luck and best wishes.

Voluntary departure is agreeing to voluntarily obey the law and leave the coutry AFTER you have already disobeyed the law and entered the country. This would be opposed to being taken into custody and escorted out of the country by marshals.

There is not one documented case of any individual who has ever actually left the country after agreeing to voluntary departure.
