Thread: POLL: Most Voters Oppose Public Schooling, Tuition Breaks & Driverís Lic for Undoc

  1. #1
The Obama administration announced last week that it was slowing the deportation process for ďlow priorityĒ immigration cases to focus on illegal immigrants with criminal records. Critics complain the move is intended to get around Congressí refusal to pass the so-called Dream Act aimed at providing a path to citizenship for those who came to the country illegally before age 16. But a majority of voters remain opposed to giving the children of illegal immigrants the same educational opportunities as those who are here legally.

Critics LIE. Congress allocates just enough resources to remove 400,000 aliens per year. There are (officially) 11 mils in America. There is no way you will remove 11 millions in any given fiscal year when all you can do is remove 400,000. Therefore administration has issued the memo with list of priorities, so that they would not be picking lottery tickets and fill deportation buses with 90 years old nannies while leaving serial killers roam the streets. Simple as that.
Now critics can LIE all they want, it just doesn't make the policy what it isn't.

As to tuition breaks, that's something for taxpayers to decide.
