hey guys i have a very quick question, i am talking to a college right now about a teaching position. as i understand it universities arent limited to the h1b cap. i am just wondering if i get hired right now and they apply for h1b for me. how long does it take to process? do i still have to start only in october or can it be sooner?
    thank you

Takes anywhere about 90 days to process. It can be quicker if the University applies for premium processing. Check USCIS processing time web page. Depending on where the University is located will depend on which service center they will file the Form I-129 to. Good Luck.
