i read a very crucial topic in the allnurses.com about a nurse who failed his medical tests (positive for hep b) in the u.s. immigration. what is the stand of the INS with regards to this topic? will the person not really be approved for green card approval?
    thank you!

    hi there...

treatment could take from 4 months to 1 yr depending upon current stage of disease .... Could be worse ... might have to go for liver transplantation .... if after treatment results are seronegative ... there shouldn't be any problem with US Immigration ... good luck...Pasha
