Thread: I need to know

  1. #1
I applied for Temporary Resident permit under the amnesty lulak
program last year but was not able to supply all the necessay documents to back up
my application and my application was denied ( Before I was denied I
    have being finger print).

I have being engaged to a US citizen for 4yrs whom we just got
married this week ( I married him for love) but he his not making enough money if he as to file for me.

My question are: If my partner file for me

Will the first application affect my husband applying for pernament
    resident for me.

Sesondly, we do not have anyone that can sign the affidavite of support for us, will it affect my application

Your sincere opinion and suggestions are highly appreciated
    Thank you

After the denial, were you asked to leave the US?

    To answer your questions:
-Yes, USCIS may question your marriage. Be prepared with all the evidence about ongoing long term relationship.
-Your husband can petiton for your. However, without your husband making above the poverty line or additional sponsor, the petition will be denied.

You may want to look for a free consultations with a lawyer.

No, I was not asked to leave although my application was not denied as such but I was sent a notice of intention to deny if I did not supply more evidence.

Is there anyone on this board who also apply for the lulak program

    Thanks
