What happens if you apply for citizen based on marriage 90 days before your 3rd year GC anni. but you get a divorce after you apply? Does that disqualify for citizenship in 3 years?

Antivirus, it is amazing the amount of questions you ask, and some with the word 'if' divorce occurs. I would have thought you would be an expert here now with the multi questions over your time here lol

Anyway to answer your question, to get citizenship based on marriage, you have to stay married and living as a couple right up to the Oath Ceremony.

If you separate or divorce anytime before that,(even if you have applied under the 3yrs) you won't qualify. You will then have to reapply at 90 days before 5yrs GC anniversary.

Thanks Sprint Girl. The fact is that I have many friends and family, and friends of family that come to me with questions because i have gone through immigration process, and so they feel i give them good direction. I have told them about this site and the forum, but you have to understand these people dont have computer let alone access and knowledge of using the internet. So i just ask their questions as mine because at the end of the day i just like to get answers from people who actually know what they are talking about, like yourself. However, i always tell them to talk to a lawyer and consult someone with more expertise then myself, but this is more of a starting point for most people. does that make sense? Anyways, I am sure i will get more question that i will post on-line. Thank you.
