Thread: adjusting status

Hey everyone, if I filed for my wife while I was a permanent resident and now I got naturalized and am now a citizen, how can I adjust the status of the case to match my new status so it can go more quickly?

There's a new way that the CIS processes LPR's I-130s:

You should write a letter the Service Center where you filed I-130 and inform them that you're a citizen now. Visa numbers from the State Department are immediately available to spouses of USCs. Make sure to include your citizenship certificate number.

    Cheers.
