    I deseperately need help..I cant affort to consult a lawyer..
    I got married to a USC 2 1/2 years back .I recently got my greencard.We both are so different ,he started abusing me physichally and decided to divorce.Is it legally permitable to divorce him??

    Do you have your green card or your conditional green card? I'm assuming you have your conditional green card only.

    You can divorce him and apply for the removal of your conditions alone since he is abusing you.

    Once you have your green card you are okay,Leave him alone.
