Thread: TELL US YOUR STORY

  1. #1
I am a producer working on a documentary about the naturalization process for a major cable network.

We are currently seeking naturalized citizens -- or people who will become naturalized within the next few months -- who have intriguing backgrounds and fascinating stories. We want to find dynamic people who are willing to be filmed and share their experiences.

Specifically we're interested in showing the various paths to citizenship including: Love, Asylum, Military Service, Extraordinary Ability, etc.

Additionally we want to hear from individuals who who have been denaturalized, deported, renounced their American citizenship, or who are here illegally and want nothing more to become citizens.

This is an apolitical film that will not go in to issues of legislation or policy. Our goal is to clearly show the audience what the experience of naturalization is, stage by stage, through the eyes and words of those who are going (or have been) through it.

If any one jumps to mind who you think might be a good fit for our project, please give us a call at 718-222-1776 or email us at naturalized@flickerflacker.com .

    Thank you.

Now if a person is denaturalized or deported, obviously they are no longer in the country. At least we all hope so. In that event, how would you interview that person?
