Thread: N400 Interview time frame

  1. #1
Does anyone know how long does one have to wait for interview schedule after finger prints on N400. I understand it varies in each district but on average. We are processing our N400 from NC, we had FPs on Jan 7,2005. It is June & we are still waiting for interview date.

prarup: What ever you have done and completed the required paper and FP USCIS/BCIS will take their own sweet time.
Once you move and your file trasfer, then you can start calling or contact area RP congressman that will work out.
None of the board members can do any thing in this regards.

If I remember correctly, the fingerprings expire in 1 year, so they really try to get the interview in with in the year.

Yes fp is valid for one year. Though it dose not change through out your life time.

prarup you should know the working of all Government is the same same. All govt. Agency are short of staff, lack of knowledged of immigration laws. I know the cases which was miss handled by the Immigration peoples and the Attornies.
A friend hire a Attorney to file papers for his daughter, received his fees, even then he was sitting with the doucments for 4/5months.
When he contacted again he asked for US$4500.00 to get him a LPR status. After looking at the paper work I completed rest of the documents and the daughter got the LPR Status. It is the matter of your experince and understanding of law.
