ive read several items on this website and the ins site regarding the k-3, i have also made numerous calls to the ins and the consulate and i am still not any further forward in this process, can someone please tell me if they have gone through this process,
i got my receipt notice dated may 8th, now do i have to wait 90 working days, even though the missouri centre was looking at receipt dates of the 25th two weeks ago my congressman found out for me,
after it is approved at missouri, where does it go, my congress told me straight to the embassy in my own country, yet i have read on here that it has to go to the NVC, so i called the NVC they told me that i have to wait after the approval for another 90days while it sits in limbo at there centre in NH, thas before it even gets to my own country, i have a friend who this whole process only took 4months to complete, im coming up to my 3rd month now and still no further forward nor am i with my husband,
if someone can please tell me their own experience or if someone can explain the process fully to me, cos i am getting told so much different stuff off different ppl and different sites.... thankyou in anticipation

You sound like you know more then I. Please share some more details and maybe we can work together on this issue. I sent my I129 in and recieved a reciept dated MAy 16. I have got nothing since that time. I can even get anyone to answer any questions about the process expected on this type of application...actually most the time I try and ask a INS Specialist that answers their phones they start telling me that I could not have applied for this because I am married and my husband is no longer a fiancee. Oh dear if they dont have a clue then who does? So if the application is approved then it goes where? NVC ?? What is that and do you have their phone number? If you would like please email me your email address and I will try and get some more info this next week. I have a call into my senator office and expect to hear early next week.
Thanks for any info you can share and good luck to you and your husbnd.!!!!!!

    Mr. Guest,

You see it is people like you that make our Constitution weak, you automatically came to a conclusion, but do you know that this could happen to anyone. The weak point of this case "Civil Rights" is that we are talking about "DRUGS", and anytime drugs is mentioned in a negative way, society turns the other way and points the finger. Don't you know that its a "Easy Cop Out". Did you not read the paper or listen to the news. In Dallas a group of people were set up on "Drugs", supposely by the Police and disclosed by the media. Now think about that!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is how to apply for the K3 visa:

You DO need to apply for the 129. And no, it makes no sense to me either, haha.

    Hope that helps a little.

what relevance does your reply even have to my question, i really think if you have no offer of help for ppl in our situation, then u just wasted my time by reading your response, this board is supposed to be for ppl who want advice and not for stupid remarks like yours, talking about drugs, no where in my question did i mention drugs or the civil law, id rather you kept your oppinions to yourself
