Thread: Change address in mid of processing

  1. #1
We are moving to a new house. My spouse is going to get an interview notice anytime so the lawyer said it is not a good time to change the address with the immigration. We still own and have access to the old house. It is just not that convenient to go all the time to pick up mails. We are thinking about having the post office forward our mail. Have you guys done this before? Is it reliable?

It's best to follow the rule to inform USCIS within 10 days that you changed your address. You can call or do it online. It's free. A notice is normally being sent to both your address and the lawyer's so there's no possibility to miss it.
