    In a LC application, can one claim the experience gained in the present (sponsoring company) if the title, role and job responsibilities have significantly changed from the initial H1B application.

    If the position is radically different, but requires the same skills as required in the LC, then you may be able to utilize that experience. However, the local SESA may give you a very hard time. Generally, you want to avoid using the sponsoring employer's time and experience as a basis for your LC, because it may become more of a problem once recruiting starts (if you are filing a regular LC) or the SESA may ask you to redo recruiting if you filed a RIR.
