Thread: usc husband filing for father

  1. #1
    Can anyone offer any advice.
Known husband for past three years, and have been travelling in and out of the US on my 5 year B1/2 visa which expired last August.Entered the US April 2004,.Got married to my husband October 2004.
We are yet to file for adjustment of status for me.
My husband filed for his father early 2004 to adjust his status. He has not been called for his interview yet.
Will his father's filing in anyway affect my adjustment application?

As long as your husband has the financial resources to sponsor both of you, don't see why it should be a problem.
