Thread: DS 230, Civil Documents and Visa Bulletin February, 2009

  1. #1
    1. Visa Bulletin January, 2009 published.
    2. I was two and half months behind the Priority Date...then
    3. My sponsor submitted I-864 and paid $ 70
    4. I sent DS-3032.
    5. NVC asked my agent for paying Immigration Application Processing Fee$ 400 per person.
    6. My agent paid the money.
    7. NVC asked for sending DS 230.
    6. I sent DS 230 and Civil Documents yesterday.
    7. Visa bulletin February, 2009 published. No movement in F3 category.
    8. Still I am two and half months behind the Priority Date.
    Question:
    1. Is there any progress actually?
    2. When NVC will assign visa number for me?
    3. When I will be in USA? Please consider the worst scenario.

    Regards,
    Swarna

    1. Yes, they are processing those in line in front of you
    2. when your PD becomes current
    3. It can be a mater of months or a year... Nobody here can tell you when your PD will become current... and how fast the consulate in your country will act.
If you tell us where you are from, somebody may have an idea about the counsulate part.
