Thread: Employment based Green Card has been approved at interview

  1. #1
Thank God, it is over! We got our passports stamped at the interview. Following is the details of interview.
Applied for labor certificate in 99.
Applied for Green card in September 2002.
Case was transferred to local office in Phoenix on July 20th 2004, then to Tucson.
Interview date was 12th May 2005 at Tucson office.( refer to other posting).
It took total of @ 45 minutes for the interview.
It was done under oath. Interviewer went through each and every page of the every one's files and made sure everything was correct. She took All tax returns for previous 3 yrs, marriage certificate and copies of birth certificates etc. There was a history of arrest after the application. When she asked if you were arrested, I said yes. and I told the case was discharged and I showed the copy of discharge. she took a copy and put it in my file. It was domestic misdemenor case. She did not ask nothing more. Then she finger printed index fingers of everyone and made us to sign. Then she stamped the passports and told us that the actual Green cards will be arriving in the mail in @ 2 to 3 months. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I hope the information contained in this posting may help someone.
