Thread: Oppression Is Not a State’s Right

Stop me if you’ve heard this one: Elected officials in Southern states barring the schoolhouse door, shaking their fists at the federal government over civil rights, the Constitution and their right to oppress minority groups without Washington’s meddling. Read more here

Rep. Steve King Says Asking Hospital Patients Their Immigration Status Would Not Be Going ‘Too Far’
Portions of the nation’s most harmful immigration law went into effect last month in Alabama, causing widespread fear and panic among the state’s Latino population. It requires school officials to verify students’ immigration status, prompting thousands of frightened Latino students not to show up for school. Read more here

It is certainly not going too far. It is actually not going far enough. Unless it is a matter of life and death, publically funded medical care providers should be prohibited from treating illegal aliens.

The only thing BoardWiz is outraged about is that illegal aliens are being arrested and deported.

...if the "Latinos" who are apparently sooo panicked, fearful and frightened hadn't thought themselves too self-important to respect America's laws and sovereignty and enter America ILLEGALLY then they wouldn't have to worry.

The only ones who are responsible for the illegals' supposed predicament are THE ILLEGALS THEMSELVES!

If Board Wizard is so concerned about the welfare of illegal alien douchebags, why hasn't BW taken a dozen or so into his/her home, given them room and board, let them use his/her car, etc???..the same reason no other illegal alien supporter has done this...they lack the courage of their so called convictions.
