Thread: applied to Applied to remove the conditions 7 months ago but didn't get any response

    Hi guys,

7 months ago, I applied to remove the conditions on my green card. It was the Nebraska service center. I received NOA right after I filed i751. After that I didn't get any response. Is here anyone with the same situation? Please let me know what happens in this situation? Thanks!

Does your NOA shows ant waiting period window? If you have cross the period then you need to call the center for update. Too bad you can't check I-751 status on line. What I experienced was, my friend did not get the approval letter and was lost in mail. When she called then they said 'why did not you make the appointment with the local immigration office to process I-88 (I beleive)? Trust me in these days mail men are so busy to handle junk mail and we miss important letters in that ****. Good Luck!

Yes, I can check the time frame online but the Nebraska service center is moving slow and it's still a month behind than when I filed my case. Now they are working with September 6 2006 case. I think they will get to my case after 1 month or two. Yes I can check my case status online but it's not updated since I got NOA right after I filed the case. May be my mail was lost. But I think if they had sent it, then they could have sent a copy to my lawyer too. My lawyer says he didn't receive it either. Let's see. Thanks!
