    It means 50% of population is approving that he is doing nothing.
    That's high approval rating for someone who does nothing

    Yeah. The only difference is that this is Obama's first term and less than a year after taking the office.

    Obama with 50% approval rating in the beginning of his first term is much greater gift to Reps than Bush was to Dems with 22% by the end of his second term.

    Exactly! Obama is an instant gift to Reps whereas Bush was holding off Dems gratification up until 2005.

    You guys don’t seem to understand, it is no longer possible for any president to be popular. In order to get the US back on track and competitive again, huge concessions have to be made. The US is burdened with way too many entitlements, promised to it‘s citizens. The USA can no longer sustain he American dream, and it’s going to get worse, way worse. Who’s president , does not matter. The great generation of our Father’s is gone, the youth of America is undisciplined, spoiled, soft, and rouge.
