Rob, if I were in your shoes I would consider the military. You can go to college and get on a fast track to the green card.

If it were me though I would join the air force as you have the least chance of being sent into combat.

    Rob:

Though your unlawful staying is automatically forgiven until you turn 18 as per immigration laws, yet still you cannot adjust your status in the US because you came here illegally. You must need to go back if you want to be legal unless Amnesty comes along. Since you have been living here for so long then obviously you might have a girlfriend who might be a US citizen. She could be able to sponsor you, but you would need to go back anyway as you entered without inspection.

    Good Luck!

why not join the "foreign legion?" -- they ask no questions about your background, and, better yet, the US would be rid of one more illegal alien..

hey Someone12, it is not his fault that his mom took him to the US illegally by the age of 3!

    Hey Miriamz - guess what...I don't care. He's 18....a grown-up....he can choose to be responsible...or not.

I am sorry, but I do not believe you can join any part of the military as an illegal alien. Check out www.immigrate2us.net for some ideas!
