if your case is marriage-based and ur wife / sponsor is moving with u ... file I-865 at Nebraska service center and write a letter to TSC letting them know that u have moved to Chicago... once u r done with this...call the 1-800 number and update your new address in their database... good luck...Pasha

Pattal... do what I said before coz I have a personal experience with change of address when we moved to our new house though in the same city not too far.... u have to do all paperwork I mean file all kinda forms and to be on safe side write even letters letting previous service center know abt ur address change and the new one....

IN ADITTION TO THAT YOU MUST CALL THE 1-800 NUMBER...

you just cant update ur address by calling the number...

YOU MUST SEND THE PAPERWOEK AS I SAID BEFORE AND ALSO I SAID ALSO CALL THE USCIS TO UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS.

I hope you find useful advice in this post...good luck...Pasha

As Pasha said, call AND send paperwork.

No need to try and reinvent the wheel.

There's a thread from approximately a year ago that goes into DETAIL what you need to do and why. You want to have proof that you have followed procedure for changing your address, send forms requiring signature so that you have proof they were received. It's too important to just make a phone call and hope for the best.
