    Immigration bust: Officers find human smuggling operation
    San Antonio police say they've busted an alleged human smuggling operation not far from the heart of downtown.

    U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers had 20 victims and two suspects in custody Monday.

    Police received a call for suspicious vehicles parked outside a residence in the 200 block of Southolme Ave. just after 1:20 a.m. Monday.

    Investigators found 20 victims of human smuggling inside the residence. The people were all lying on the floor. Authorities said the home does not have electricity or even running water. Read more here
