Thread: Newly US Citizen wanting to sponsor UK parents

  1. #1
Does anyone have any prior knowledge or experience with sponsoring alien relatives, mother and father?
Particulally newly made US citizen sponsoring UK parents.

I would like to know time frames of the processing and likelyhood of this.

I file in the US, once approved do my parents need to wait for a period of time in the UK before moving over?
If so, how long is this wait and what are the in's/out's of the process.

Myself, I married a US citizen, now a US citizen myself and wanting to sponsor my parents.

If anyone has any information that would be useful, if only for providing a little of the information I'm after, I would be very grateful.

    Thanks

    Doof
