    The 2 links provided on page 1 will lead you to many many examples of harship letters and stories, as well as the information whether they were approved or not.
    I say it depends on personal situation, how it is presented, and the country where it is filed. In some countries approval rate is 70-80%, in others maybe 10%.

    don't know for Indonesia, but in general: it seams it is more difficult to get a waiver approved in countries with higher immigration fraud (from where most overstays, sham marriages, etc originate). London has high approval rate, Peru very very low.
