Thread: It's out!

The new USCIS Ombudsman's report for 2008:

    http://www.ilw.com/immigdaily/news/2...-ombudsman.pdf

According to it the USCIS/FBI have reduced the namecheck backlog (yeah right!) by about 60,000. BUT if you read further, they leave out 185,162 pending cases more than 6 months from their figures.

Those waiting 2yrs+ are now in a minority (hah!) it claims, just 7% of the total backlog.

So it's the same old story really. Sad, really sad.

Hopefully, they will process yours sooner than later, Brittie. It's a real shame, particularly in light that it's an election year and many of you should have already been processed and have eligibility to vote in November.

I wonder who Brittie would vote for if he could?

Well it certainly wouldn't be for the current lot Mrs B. I say go Obama GO!

The report also mentions that 5200 people in this last year have filed WoM on the government. The courts will be jammed with having to hear all those WoM cases and imagine how much this is costing the US tax payers.

Brit, if it was up to me, you would have been approved a long time ago. Thanks for the report. I agree, the report is for the birds, leterally.
