Thread: BIG BLOW TO THE EXTREMIST

Public opinion may be shifting as well. House Republican leaders rushed members back to Washington last year for a rare December session, convinced that a measure to get tough on illegal immigration would help the party battle back against the resurgent Democrats. But in the new Post-ABC News poll, completed Sunday, 50 percent of respondents said they trusted the Democrats to better handle the immigration issue, while 38 percent trusted Republicans. A third of Americans approved of the president's handling of the immigration issue, while 61 percent disapproved. Only his handling of gas prices showed lower approval ratings. Three-quarters of those responding said the United States is not doing enough to secure its borders, but they appeared to have rejected the argument that immigrants are an economic threat. About 68 percent said illegal immigrants are filling jobs Americans do not want, compared with 29 percent who believe they are taking jobs from Americans.

his is not a lou dobbs polls, this polls was conducted by the washingtonpost which is conservative and abc news...logic will tell you to take the abc washington pot more seriously then a lou dobbs polls who has nothing good to say about immigrants...

You expect a lou dobbs polls to always show that the american public wants mass deportation because he favors mass deportation...Ive never seen a lou dobbs polls that doesnt show negativity toward immigrants..i always laught when he showcase those polls on his show then tries to convince his viewers that his polls is indeed the real deal.

This guy cant be serious, he really think we believe that the polls numbers are fair??!! only minute-men and bigots like maramus trust those polls...

how come lou dobbs never let his audiences know that abc, foxnews, washingtonpost, all came ou with polls that suggest that the american public support a comprehensive bill..he'll never show his viewers those polls because he simply doesnt like the final result..
