    This will help?

May 1 protest aims to "close" cities

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Pro-immigration activists say a national boycott and marches planned for May 1 will flood U.S. streets with millions of Latinos to demand amnesty for illegal immigrants and shake the ground under Congress as it debates reform.

I guess they think they are right and therefore do not have to compromise or relent. If so then they must believe that history will not repeat itself.

Yes, they really are this stupid.

    Question IS: "WHO are they?"

Many Latino leaders and prominent immigrant rights activists are opposed to May 1 "all out strike".
And after all, why hurt businessess ????
Why deliberately turn public opinion against themselves ????

Apparently, as usual, some anti-immigrant activists have succeeded in infiltrating low level immigrant rights activist groups and now are intent on turning "immigrant rights" movement into "immigrant outrage" spectacle.

Anyway, this won't change two things:

    1. Nothing but Enforcement provisions of any Bill can pass into law in near future.

    2. In the long run Amnesty is inevitable.
