Thread: I864- I have updated one but parents used older one- problem?

  1. #1
My wife and I were ready to send the I485 package off today but yesterday I realized that my I864 is different than the one my parents (as joint-sponsors) did a while back.

Apparently mine is the updated version and theirs is older.
Do my parents have to do it all over again or is it fine to send it as-is?

    Thanks.

Sorry to be a bother. But I think this should be my last question before finally sending everything in. If this I864 thing isn't a problem, then I can get it in the mail today.
Could someone please let me know? Thanks in advance.

Older version is acceptable until 10/15/06, after that the newer version dated 1/15/06 is required.
The above is simply an opinion. Your mileage may vary. For immigration issues, please consult an immigration attorney.
