and you are shocked because an immigration attorney lied to you?Charged you a bunch of money for nothing? What do you think the requirements are to become an immigration attorney? Honesty? Ethical behavior? If you answered 'yes' to either of these questions, well, you have only yourself to blame.

But if you can suggess someone good that would be really appreciated.Thanks.

Neverlucky, I am sorry that I can not help you with that, since the LC is a very sensitive matter and is best to have a lawyer in your own state of application.
    All the best!

You know you can always write a letter to the state bar association and complain about the lawyer.

You don't have to take this!

complaining will not make any difference really.

Here is my only Tip how to find and search for a good immigration Attorney...

First you have to make sure that Attorney is mainly and only specialist in Immigration law, that should be his/her main issue and work.
That whay u know, this attorney is up to date with everyhting....

There are lots of attorneys who claim to also be immigration attorneys because they took some seminars, but have also 50 other topics they are experts in...those attorney I would for sure avoid. They do not know s.h.i.t. , they might be good with divorce, tax, health insurance etc cases but not immigration law.

And also make sure the attorney knows alot, they way u can find that out is,once u enter the immigration attorneys office and you see basically tonz of books about immigration, then you know thats their main thing and also,u ask them how often they deal with immigration cases and if they had anyhting like yours lately and how the results were...

Never ever go to an attorney who claims he has all-around knoweldge about many things included Immigration, thats a joke. And any immigration attorney will tell you that.
