    I plan to visit my friend at this summer holiday I'm a Chinese citizen, but i've got UK PR(just like Green card) ,the offer from the uni and my mom got house in Uk as well..Do i need to have the letter from my friend? And what should i say when i talk the embassy officer. Please help me about this ......

    The invitation letter is often overrated, but you can ask your friend for one. You want it to include details about your visit, including when you are going to leave, what you are going to do, and how you are going to pay for it.

    Other thinkgs you want to show is that you have your own bank account with a fair amount of money, and anything else that proves you need to return home- like school enrollment and a steady job.

    I am sure that you know that it is often difficult for a Chinese citizen to get approved, so it is important to have all the documents you can, and be proactive in your responses- ie, don't jsut answer, but continue to impress them with why you need to go back home.
