Thread: family based petitions?!

  1. #1
Just receantly my fathers parents whoe are USC's have have finally agreed to start the immigration process for him. My question is because they are senior citizens how does everything thing work out regarding the addavit of support? They are retired so how would one show that they can support their relatives as evidence? Could my dad's sisters in the U.S be joint sponsorers?

YES your aunt can co-sponsor the addavit of support.

A sponsor does not necessarily have to be a relative. One just has to meet the requirements.
