Thread: Approval letter from CA Service Center

  1. #1
So, my husband recieved this letter yesterday in the mail fom Laguna Niguel (CA Service Center). It stated that his petition for removal of conditions (I-751) was apprived as of 03/17/2004 (written in red felt tip pen). You must take this letter to your nearest office and submitt pctures with your passport, etc. And that he is not elidgible to travel outside of the US until he gets his new card or the proper stamp in his passport.

Now keep in mind, my husband and I went for our interview on 03/17/2004 and were approved that day, he also handed over his old GC and in 3 weeks got his new GC in the mail. His passport had already been stamped once by immigration, and in the interview, the guy wrote something on top of the stamp.

Is this just a follow-up lettter? Or was it that maybe we should have never had an interivew? I just wondered if this had happen to anyone else. I mean 2 months later they say great you are approved, when he already has his new GC...imagine if it said sorry you have been denied.
