Thread: Recent Graduate from U.S. College. Options?

  1. #1
I am a December of 2003 graduate from U.S. University. Although i have recived a working permit for one year (Optional Practical Training OPT), it is virtualy impossible to find an employer for temporary workers!

Is there a way to obtain a permenent working permit or even a green card? How much would it cost? Are there employers that are willing to sponsor exchange students who are in many cases better for the job than American students, but due to their status suffer?

    Thank you

no, it is not possible to get a permanent work permit or GC without a company's sponsorship. And, good luck finding a job. I am on OPT since September, and I don't have a job yet.

    Hi Bel,

You can enter in Master / PhD program and that way prolong your legal stay here while searching for employer that might help you in getting GC .... Good luck... Pasha
