I need information about my greencard. I've went to US en 1969 and get out in 1978. I was 10 years old. My father is living with the same greencard since 1969 in the US. He camed to my country in 1978 and went a lot of times back. He's living in the US since 90' continously. My brother is a US citizen, he born in LA.
In 1998 I've came to US and all the years included 2002, with B2 visa.
Is it possible to get back my status? I know that is important the intentions that you have are important, and when I camed to my country, I didn't wanted to come to my country, it was because my father wanted.

Try asking your father first on his current status and if he has updated his GC.I presume it has been renewed since it is more than 10 ten years. He might be responsible for not doing anything for your papers as this has been a case of abandonment. If he is still in status as GC, maybe things can be work out.One problematic point is that you have overstayed your B2 visa.
But I would appreciate if you can clarify more your case has there are things that are not clear especially the last part.

Thanks for your reply. No I'm in my country, I never stayed more than one month with B2. So I'm still legal.
How can I get more information if I can still retain my greencard.
My father went again to the US, and he is living with the new greencard.
I'm a Systems Analyst, perhaps that can help me.
Now I am married.I believe that this isn't any problem.
Thank you once again and tell me what do you think.
