Thread: Advance Parole, Should I or Shouldn't I

  1. #1
    Hi,

I hope this thread will receive some response unlike my previous ones.

I was told by BCIS Orlando that I have 1 more year to go before im called for an AOS interview (it takes 3 yrs total).

I miss my family to the point of depression that I am left with no choice but to consider AP.

I came here on VWP from Singapore in Sept 2001 (expiration date was Dec 23 2001) and got married during that period. Receipt for AOS/I130/Fingerprint were dated Jan 03 2002.

So what do you think? Should I go for it? I have heard stories where people have been denied entry and theres no guarantee once u leave the US?...etc...

I would truly appreciate any advice whatsoever.

    Thanks in advance.

The reason your threads are going unanswered is becuase what is there to answer....WHAT DO U WANT US TO DO ABOUT IT?????????? The board has taken the time to answer your questions in depth about ADVANCE PAROLE. you have been given the facts to make your decision. You have been made aware of the "no guarantee" for re-entry bcause of your pending AOS. Its that simple.. Now YOU make that decision, its your life.
