Thread: New US passport

I just got a new US passport, and I wanted to comment about some of the changes.

It's now trilingual: English, French and Spanish.
The passport number is not punched into the cover and first 3 pages, but listed in little numbers on the ID page, and it starts with a number, not a letter.

The ID is alongside the photo, not on a separate page.
Page numbers are in big white letters at the top, not little black numbers at the bottom.
There are 24, not 48 pages.

And it took 14 weeks to get it, instead of 1day.

I don't know what the 'old' ones looked like, but mine is beautifull :-)

It really is a work of art. Also, without a passport, it's impossible to travel or live outside the USA, what a horrible thought! Thank you, Colin Powell.
