my application for 2nd H1 was received by ins but no notice of receipt was ever sent to me. after two months of inquiry my lawyer re applied second time and after three months no notice of receipt was ever sent to me. i have proof of receipt thru fedex and proof that they received the application fee as they cashed the checks. it has been 3 1/2 months now and i will be terminated on my firsty h1. can anybody help me?

I will suggest going on person to the nearest INS office as soon as possible before your first H1 is terminated. Also you can call the INS toll free number 1-800-375-5283, and ask to speak to an INS officer instead of customer service, and they will assist you over the phone.
Also, just keep the receipt from FedEx and the copy of the check for proves. I hope this helps.Good luck.
