Me and my family have got green card. I have got my social security card. We have a problem at my home. My daughter has a tax id card and green card and she is working with that tax id card number and green cars at a reputed company as part time emplyee. Although i have told her that she got to get social security number. You know American teen agers think they are super! She would not listion to me. and She did not apply for it yet. My question is, Is it legal to work with green card and tax id number. If not what could be the problem for her. and I am helpless, I dont know how to motivate her to go to social security ofice to apply for social security card. I have tried to go myself to social security card office with all her id's and green card to apply social security card for her. The office wanted her to be there. I dont know what to do. I think i may be in trouble. Please help.
