  • Whats happen when i live US with exp.tourist visa?

Im going home to Europe next month and im overstayed my tourist visa for 2 years.
My friend told me that INS can ask me lot of question end even put me in jail.
    Is it true?
I have never worked here illegaly or did something wrong.
I will change my airplane in NY and i will have only 2 hours to do that.
If they stop me on that airport i will loose my airplane.
And i dont have any other money to buy ticket again.

INS may stop you but if you are leaving the country anyway then the chances are less as you are leaving voluntarirly. One thing you should be careful of is you will not be granted a visa again in the future. There are several ways that you can adjust your status by even living in US.

Didn't you guys hear him say he doesn't have the money to buy an other ticket? he has been here for 2 years, and he couldn't make any future so what the hick! he better be with his love one in Europe. sometimes you can make more money and have a life in Europe than in the usa.

I don't think they are going to stop you, the ticket counter person will be required to ask for your I-94 and that's it et bon voyage. Customs don't interfer if you have over stayed your visa, they are just unhappy that they are going to lose an other immigrant and less taxes.

Most likely you will not be allowed to even transit the US - expect to be sent home at NY. And I am missing something...you said you stayed for more than 2 yrs but did nothing wrong...seems to me you violated US law by not returning to your home country when you were supposed to...and really, you expect us to believe you lived for at least two years in the US without working???? Yeah, right, and there is an Easter Bunny too.
