More like after recent elections Dems figured they will lose next midterm anyway, so what is the incentive not to piss off Repubs?

Just in time for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. History certainly does repeat itself.

Thank goodness we still have a few sane people representing our interests. I say, come 2012, let's wipe out the liberal leaning sides of this country who want us to sink to the levels of 3rd world status. For those of us who were born and raised in this country (and probably many others who've immigrated here), we don't want any parts of socialism. Period. The government needs to figure out how to place caps on medical malpractice, place caps on the profitability of insurance companies and stop trying to inject themselves in our lives by requiring us to carry medical coverage.

We should be worried at how sneaky Pelosi and Obama have worked to sneak this law in on a Saturday night and to shut off debate by not listening to opposition and censoring the number one news network in America, Fox News, who's ratings are greater than all of its competitors combined. This shows they are willing to stop at nothing to socialize this country even as this type of economic model failed us just recently with the mortgage industry and has never worked in other countries ever. Why do they keep trying the same thing over and over and expect different results?

The Berlin Wall fell 20 years ago; the Obama wall falls in 3 years !!!

I guess they didn't like socialized medical care either !

At least Russia had hot girls to go with their socialized medicine; we have to breed with swine

You still have a choice davdah. By making it a requirement it ensures everybody is covered. Those that can't afford it will be subsidized. Do you really want to see 47m+ uninsured in the future (and the extra cost to us ALL because if it??). You're already paying for the cost of covering the uninsured! What the hell are the Repubs thinking of? Who in their right mind would choose not to have insurance?

Exact same reasoning as the housing bubble. "By making it a requirement to give out mortgages to anyone regardless of credit history, it ensures everybody can get a mortage. Those that can't afford it will be subsidized. Do you really want to see 47m+ unable to obtain a mortgage. You are already paying for the cost of people unable to obtain a mortage. Who in their right minds would choose not to buy a home? Housing is a right, not a privelege!" How soon we forget !!!

Stupidity in the inability to learn from past mistakes. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

People that support socialized health care; are you 1) stupid, 2) Insane or 3) Both ??
