  • DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CURRICULAR TRAINING AND PRACTICAL TRAINING

Please tell me the difference between curricular training and practical training for F1. I was told by someone who is not a lawyer that one can do curriuclar training during the course of study so long as the training period does not exceed one year. Then one can do practical trianing after the studies. IS this true?

You are correct about curricular practical training.
It is granted by the international student services department in the university after authorization from your professor/department.
Optional practical training is granted by INS for a maximum period of one year after the completion of your studies.
