  • Green Card Lottery

We are setting up a green card lottery application assistance service to help people in developing country "successfully" apply for a green card in the DV2005 visa lottery. We need to talk to a lawyer to help us set up this service. Is any lawyer out there available to consult with us? If so, please reply to this post and we'll contact you. We are in the Chicago area. Thanks!

      Hi all,

Actually, the biggest question we have is this:

Can we use our offices address as the mailing address for all the applicants that file with us? Anyone who can help here, we'll be much obliged. Thanks!

Yes, you can use your office address. In fact, that's exactly what similar companies/offices do.

I don't think any of your clients would qualify, since they need to provide their own address and not the one of a third party.

My understanding is that you want to charge people a reasonable amount for submitting their proper papers to participate in the DVD lottory. Then you want to additionally be able to controll your charging by providing their winning information for a who-knows-unlimited-fee-in-return (that's why the address). I think the market is saturated with scams like this and your "business" is doomed to fail...

To all interrested people: all the information needed to successfully participate in the DVD lottorey are at the following link, no assistance, service-charge etc. is needed, there is no increased success in participating with a commercial assistance! This is the offical DVD side of the U.S. government.

There is a number of people who might be interested in this kind of service. They usually live in third world countries with limited (if any) internet access to file an application, and slow and unreliable mail service to receive notification letter. Also, people who move often and would like to avoid lost/misdirected mail.

This is what we need to stop for about 5years to update the backlog of BCIS/INS.
BCIS/INS need to work, No coffee. AOS Cases are pending since 2000, what they are doing we have no idea?
They have no system, too many peoples working at BCIS/INS, no progress. "shame"
