File for Advanced Parole at the USCIS office having jurisdiction over your place of residence.

how can you travel if you are filing for aslyum. Don't mean to insult you but your question is silly.

Are you trying to go back to the country from which you are seeking asylum? If so, that is very much frowned upon. Also, since you currently have no status, it wouldn't be wise to travel out of the US if you plan to return.

I believe you can get permission to travel from the DHS while an asylum case is in progress (pending or on appeal), but you should have the travel document in hand before you leave. Obviously traveling to your home country is not a good idea.

It is not a good idea to travel while you have a case pending before any part of USCIS.

I dont think you can apply for advance parole when you do not have an adjustment case pending with uscis. The only option you have is the address in Washington DC Parole branch, they are the ones with authority to allow you back in the States. Now- what was the outcome of your application, did they deny your application, if so, they should give a reason. Also do not expect to receive travel documents in couple of weeks it might take up to four months. Keep us posted of developments.
