  • AOS - Is this normal?

    Hi,
Our priority date has recently become current. My sister called the INS to inquire about our case status (we're in the U.S. now and had requested them to forward the case to the LA office from our home country), but was told that our case is currently suspended, pending on approval from the INS. What does that mean? Is it because we had changed our status in the U.S. (B2 to F1 10 years ago, after petitioning for green card)? Has anyone had similar experience? Any input would be appreciated!
