  • Umesh and/or anybody else smarter than me!

Long story tried to cut short. Itw as me earlier asking EAD ques.
I first came to US in 1985 as visitor, stayed 10 years! worked as Nanny, met & lived w/ boyfriend (husband now) we never thought about marriage, just lived together, I got new passport from UK embassy when old one expired. I left through NY airport, when asked for I-94 I said I'd lost it. Airline agent just said "don't do it again" and I left - no problem. I returned to USA six weeks later after seeing family etc, I really expected to be picked up by INS at the airport, but there wasn't a problem, boyfriend was waiting at airport expecting trouble too, but we didn't have any at all. Continued as we were until 4 years ago when we finally decided to marry, now am filing I-485. What will INS think off all that? Shall I bring in evidence photo's etc from the very beginning or just since I returned in 1995. I don't have a problem explaining it all if they ask.

Your spouse is USC. So you will have no problem at all. They won't ask you for details. When you marry a USC these minor things are forgiven.
      Good luck.
