Did uou receive what we received? A letter stating that they cannot approve the petition yet and that the company should "have the opportunity to test the laobr market again"?
We have'nt heard about anybody being approved yet but we know people in the same situation as we are.
      Good Luck

BIC, thanks for your response. quick questions.

Did you do an advertisment for your position prior filing the DOL RIR petition.
How much justification did you provided that you could not find anyone to replace you? Did you have a lawer file paperwork for you?

What industry was it filed under: IT, etc...

        THANK YOU!

Sorry. These are the same questions we have right now. I have just put them on another forum to somebody who says that he/she received the the LETTER from DOL and that he put the ads and DOL approved his petition TODAY.
It is the first case of approved RIR which was postponed in the first place. At least that I know about. I will keep you informed.
          Good luck

            1. My husband filed in the electronical engineering.
            2. Yes. The company lawyer filed the papers for him. I suggest you go to a big corporate lawyer because he/she might have met similar situation, as new as they are right now.

We filed the regular way for the RIR in May 2002. Which means first ads in the paper for 6 months and then the petition.
