How long does it take for H1b visas to be processed? And does the BCIS normally follow the time table written in the Notice of Receipt?

The bcis never stick to the times they sy they will, I am living proof! The quickest way to get an H1 visa processed is to pay $1000 for premium processing, if you do this they must give you an answer within 15 days, or your money back! If you want to do this you get your attorney to submit form i907 with the $1000.

The BCIS says it takes 60 to 90 days to process an H-1B application. Some cases take this long, while usually you should add a month or two to this time to be safe.

If you need it sooner, then use the premium processing. I've never had one not processed within the 15 days.

            to mmorales

i applied (well, the company did) for H1B premium processing...in a week i received a letter asking for additional evidence which should be submitted to them within next 3 months.... i am about to send it to BCIS... does it mean i can ask them to returm one of the 1000$ which i submitted for premium processing? and do you think my petition will be denied if they asked for aditional evidence??

            thank you
